Egglomania Instructions

Egglomania is very easy to play! If you've played our BoXiKoN game, you'll recognize the basic shape fitting logic is the same. Whether you've played BoXiKoN or not, you'll soon have the basic rules cracked in no time! Instructions in more Detail

Eggs in various shape formations appear in the nests on the left of the screen. Your job is to pick them up and place them anywhere in the play area. You can use the right mouse button (or mouse wheel, or space bar on a mac) to rotate the formation to help you to position them neatly. You must try to form a full straight line from one side of the play area to the other. When you create a full line, the eggs are removed and you are awarded points, as well as some valuable space! As the levels progress, the eggs become more colourful, with painted patterns, and many different shades and textures. However, the egg formations get bigger, and it becomes difficult to maintain space unless you are careful! Use your shape fitting skills to avoid running out of space!

Don't break the Eggs!

There are three Egg nests, so at any time you may have up to 3 different egg formations. If you take too long to move the shapes into the play area, you will be punished with a cracked egg! The cracked Eggs are stuck in the play area permanently, so you will be forced to work around them. You can not make lines using the cracked eggs so avoid it at all costs!

With each move you make, the eggs grow older. After 60 'moves' the eggs will crack open! You can see an egg is about to break by a thin crack appearing on the front. The faint crack appears around 20 moves before it breaks. The crack is clear to see at the '15 moves left' stage, and a color glow will start to appear. When the glow reaches a Red color you will soon be in trouble!

Big Points!

You get points for creating a line, but more points are awarded for creating multiple lines at once! Keep this in mind, especially in the early levels when the going is easy!
