Fruix Instructions
|
Fruix is very easy to play! The game follows traditional match-3 game rules but instead of swapping, or adding, you remove a pair of fruit with each move. You can remove any two Fruit you want, they dont have to be the same or adjacent to eachother.
The remaining fruit fall into place, and a group of 3 or more must be made. Otherwise, removed fruit are put back and you must try again!
In the picture on the right you can see the Orange and the Pear set to be removed. When the Orange is removed, the two Pears above will drop down to form a patch with the Pear on the left. When the lower right Pear is removed, the Grapes above will drop down to join the other Grapes. In this example two patches are removed in one turn.

Instructions in more Detail

At any time you can rotate the whole board to find the best orientation to work with. It's possible to play without rotating but sometimes you'll reap more rewards if you consider other angles. Just give it a try!

If you remove 4 or more of the same fruit in a single patch, you'll be rewarded with more points, and also a bonus bubble fruit. The bubble fruit is a taste of things to come in the next level! If you match 3 bubble fruit you will get big bonus points! |

DON'T PANIC! Well, sometimes you might find it hard to locate a potential patch of fruit. You have two options. You can wait 30 seconds, and the game will give you a hint (keep a look out!)
If you don't have time to wait, or you feel like you need a help, you can hit the Panic Button! The board will be shuffle around and you can be guaranteed some moves.
The Panic button is limited but you might pickup extra Panics later on.

You'll notice the level progress and countdown clock starting at the bottom of the board. The Countdown Clock runs up to the the right, and the Progress Fruit on the left. The more fruit groups you remove, and the more cascading fruit, and bonuses you make the quicker the progress moves.
You must reach the Bell at the top before the Countdown Clock does, or it's Game Over!
